He became prophet of ISLAM in the age 40, he began to introduce the ISLAM and it's moral points to the people of Mecca and other cities, on that time people had a very poor culture, they'd worshiped stone, wood and worthless things like these, but Mohammad taught them to worship GOD - the only creator of this world, after some years he and ISLAM became popular on all over the world.
Actually GOD brought his last religion called ISLAM by Mohammad, HE gave us a holy book too, called QURAN
23 years after becoming the messenger of GOD, Mohammad has died.
His holy shrine is in Madina.
